14th February.. most loving couples will celebrate this date as ‘Valentine’s Day’ which I had never any experience and interest in celebrating it. Talking about Valentine’s Day, most people will automatically be reminded of love or their beloved. But as for me, love is always there, surrounding me with its warmth, regardless what date it is..
There's not much to talk about who I was and who I've become. I prefer to keep my nose close to the floor, to be invisible and to blend in with surroundings. Not to fit in, least more to stand out.
I am me, and I am what I am.
There's one, though, a particular lesson I'd like to keep me reminded. Of love, loving and being loved that I learned over and over again for the past years - never be afraid.
I had started by being the one who waits, who hopes, and who believes. I was once also an idealist, keeping a perfect image of love inside my mind - waiting for the time it'll be made real. Alas, I had experienced love that was lost, and love that was unreturned.
However, of all times I learned to be an honest lover - giving all of me but expecting nothing in returned. It did not come naturally, for one does not certainly change by a mere twist of time. Sometimes I'd be happy to do it but most of the time it's hard, but I figured out it is the best way of all love - because it made me happy the most, and contented is the word.
Love is not to be afraid of, it is to be embraced. Love the one we love, love the one who love us - for it is one thing worth to be treasured in our life.
